About Us

SRTM Safe Gaming was created to give children a place to play, connect, and grow safely.

We know gaming is a major part of how today's kids socialize, relax, and express themselves. We also know that many online gaming spaces are unmoderated, unsupervised, and unsafe, exposing children to inappropriate content, strangers, and harmful interactions.

our Mission

Creating Safe, Fun, and Enriching Spaces for Youth

At SRTM Safe Gaming, our mission is simple: to give young people a safe and positive place to connect, play, and grow through video games. In today’s digital world, gaming has become a central way youth build friendships, learn teamwork, and explore creativity. But open gaming platforms often expose them to harmful content and interactions with strangers.

That’s where we come in.

SRTM Safe Gaming is designed exclusively for youth, with parents and staff as active partners in the experience. Every event, chat, and forum is structured to prioritize safety while keeping the fun and excitement of gaming at the center.

What We Do

What Makes SRTM Safe Gaming Different

Safety Comes First

All sessions are actively supervised by trained, age-appropriate staff. Children do not interact freely with strangers, and open, unsupervised chat is not permitted.

Trained & Background-Checked Staff

Every instructor and facilitator is background-checked and trained to work with children in a structured, supportive environment.

Age-Appropriate Gaming & Activities

Games and activities are selected to be fun, engaging, and suitable for each group. Children are grouped by age to ensure comfort and confidence.

Social & Emotional Learning Built In. We intentionally support skills like:

  • Cooperation
  • Sportsmanship
  • Emotional regulation
  • Communication
  • Conflict resolution

When kids feel frustrated, upset, or disappointed, our staff help them talk through it, not act it out.

Community, Not Chaos

Safe Gaming is not open-access gaming. It's a moderated community where expectations are clear, behavior is supported, and every child is respected.

FAQ

SRTM Safe Gaming is a supervised online gaming and enrichment program for children ages 5–17. It provides a safe, structured environment where kids can play age-appropriate games, socialize with peers, and build social and emotional skills without exposure to strangers or unsafe online spaces.

Unlike open gaming platforms, SRTM Safe Gaming is:

  • Actively supervised by trained staff
  • Closed to the public (no random players)
  • Age-grouped
  • Built with clear rules, expectations, and behavior support

Children are never left to navigate online interactions alone.

All sessions are led and monitored by background-checked, trained, age-appropriate instructors who have experience working with children in group settings. Staff are present throughout the session to guide play, support positive behavior, and intervene when needed.

No.
SRTM Safe Gaming does not allow open or unmoderated chat with strangers. All communication takes place within the supervised program environment, with staff monitoring interactions to ensure safety and respect.

We serve children ages 5–17.
Participants are grouped by age to ensure games, conversations, and activities are developmentally appropriate and comfortable for everyone.

Games and activities are:

  • Age-appropriate
  • Non-violent or limited in intensity
  • Designed to encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and fun

Specific games vary by age group and session, but safety and appropriateness guide all selections.

While gaming is the main activity, SRTM Safe Gaming intentionally incorporates Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). Kids practice:

  • Cooperation
  • Sportsmanship
  • Managing emotions (especially frustration or losing)
  • Communication and respect
  • Conflict resolution

Learning happens naturally through play and guided interaction.

Our staff are trained to support children through emotional moments. If a child becomes upset, frustrated, or has a disagreement, instructors:

  • Pause the activity if needed
  • Help children use words instead of behaviors
  • Guide problem-solving and calming strategies
  • Reinforce positive interactions

We focus on teaching skills, not punishment.

Sessions are 1 hour long.

  • Monday - Friday from 3-8pm
  • Sunday 3-8pm

Parents should ensure their child has:

  • A stable internet connection
  •  A compatible device (computer, tablet, or console as required)
  • A quiet space where they can participate safely

Detailed setup instructions are provided after enrollment.

Enrollment is completed directly through our website. Once enrolled, you will receive:

  • A confirmation email
  • Session access instructions
  • Program expectations and guidelines

We encourage open communication with families. While sessions are designed for children, parents are welcome to reach out with questions or concerns at any time. Additional guidelines for observation or check-ins will be shared during onboarding.

SRTM Safe Gaming is designed to be supportive and inclusive. While we are not a therapeutic or clinical service, our staff are trained to work with children who may need extra guidance with emotions, social skills, or transitions.
If you have specific concerns, we encourage you to contact us before enrolling.

No. SRTM Safe Gaming is a supportive supplement, not a replacement for parental involvement. We partner with families to provide a safer online experience, but parents remain an important part of their child’s digital life.

Our cancellation and refund policy is outlined on the Terms & Policies page. Please review that section for details or contact us with specific questions.

You can reach us through the Contact Us page or by emailing our support team. We aim to respond promptly and work closely with families to ensure a positive experience.
